What's new

A logbook of every admin change

• Admin → Logbook shows every change made in the admin page: who made it, what it was, and when, in India time
• Show only website changes, members and sign-ups, newsletters or payments, or only one person's changes
• For news, events and In memoriam, it says what was changed, such as the headline or the photos
• It also notes when the changes went live on the website
• Admin → Website shows the six most recent changes, with a button to open the full logbook

Visit counts, version numbers and more for admins

• Admin → Visits shows how many people use the website: today, this week and this month, and the most-read pages
• Every update now has a number and a note like this one. See Version and What's new at the bottom of every page
• Admin → Website: add names to In memoriam, and hide a story carried over from the old website
• What admins save under Website now reaches the site by itself, within half an hour, between 6 am and midnight

Visit counts keep no names, no addresses and no cookies. Each browser gets a random number, and records are deleted after about a year.

School news on the home page, and admins can add news and events

• School news has its own section on the home page, below Alumni news
• Admin → Website: add alumni news and school news with photos
• Admin → Website: add an upcoming event with a poster and a registration link. It shows at the top of the home page until the day has passed
• HPSR Reunion 2026 can now be changed from the admin page

HPSR Reunion 2026 on the home page

• Saturday, 19 December 2026, hosted by the Silver Jubilee Batch of 2001
• Register now opens the registration form. Add to calendar saves the date on a phone or computer

The association's own logo

• The rainbow HPSR logo with the bell, the school emblem and the eagle, as on Instagram and LinkedIn
• Also in emails, on the browser tab, and in the picture shown when the website link is shared

A cleaner, calmer design

• White pages, clear type and real photographs
• News is now an easy-to-read list
• Emails and newsletters match the website

Always light

• The website stays light, whatever the phone's dark-mode setting
• Dark mode is a switch at the bottom of every page

Old photos are for members only

• Photo albums and the Jyotsna archive need a member to sign in
• Photo links expire, so they cannot be passed around

Photo albums and the Jyotsna archive

• Over 4,000 photographs: investitures, sports days, cultural days and reunions
• Twenty issues of Jyotsna, the school magazine, to read page by page
• A new look for the whole website

Policies for online payments

• Terms, refunds and cancellations, and shipping and delivery pages, as Razorpay asks for
• The association's legal name on the contact page

Online payments, ready to switch on

• Donations with 80G receipts, event registrations and membership fees, through Razorpay
• They switch on once the association's Razorpay account is approved

www.hpsralumni.com is live

• The new website is at the association's own address, with a secure connection
• Emails to members come from info@hpsralumni.com

A new HPSR Alumni website

• Rebuilt from scratch after the old website was hacked
• Sign in with a link sent by email: no passwords to remember
• Member directory, sign-up with committee approval, and emails and a monthly newsletter to members
• Over 1,700 alumni records carried over from the old website
